There are many things all around us that shout calling for our attention.
What should we attend to? Now that is the question.
Money lack thereof or even overabundance
War all around us and
Even the battle within ourselves.
All these things are always going to be there. Of course it has to be managed and dealt with on some level. But what happens when it all seems to much. In my own experience burning the weight of it seems all too easy at first. And for many of us that’s first instinct. The crazy part is that we may not even realize that we have buried pressures within our hearts and minds. On top of everything we have to be alone with ourselves. Hearing all of the screams around us. Along with battling the thing that we have buried.
Things we try to bury and ignore because we think we got rid of it.
These amongst many other things.
You many or may not know where you stand. For those who are unaware?
Here are a few signs of
Hidden broken emotions :
Pushing away affection,
Thinking you don’t need anyone
Always wanting to be by yourself
Only looking out for yourself
Lack of acknowledging your own fault/ Redirecting the blame
Most responses you have is something negative towards situations.
The list can go on.
THE BIBLE ENCOURAGES
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Proverbs 4:23 KJV
Well how do I do that? Let’s rewind 3 verse back.
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Proverbs 4:20-22 KJV
IS IT OKAY:
Is it okay to fail? To wonder what the heck is going on? What in the world am I doing? I don’t know what I’m doing? How will I get through this and keep my sanity? Etc.These questions do come to mind
But the real question is how did I make it this far?
Even when we are feeling the pressures of life. Things seem to be going smooth. There is something somewhere there guiding and keeping you.
WHEN THE TEMPERATURE IS ON 100
From what I have seen believers and those that may not believe in God. Somehow when life seem like it’s to hard to bare. Something deep on the inside utter the words Oh God or Lord Jesus. The rest of the words continue to flow from the heart. Have you noticed that? Acknowledgment of a true and living God holler through us in the heat of life.
Somehow we are eased and receive strength. We are able to continue through the days weeks months and years.
The bible speaks about a loving God who
Sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.Matthew 5:45 KJV
A God who is kind even to the unthankful. Luke 6:35 KJV.
A God that will save if you just call upon His name Romans 10:13 KJV.
People alike all around from state to state country to country. From sea to shining sea. Share this in common. The issues of life. We all have a head. The skull a.k.a cranium is the thing that protects the brain. The brain is where all neurological signals in the body comes from. It also holds the mind.
The mind: It is usually defined as the faculty of an entity’s thoughts and consciousness. It holds the power of imagination, recognition, and appreciation, and is responsible for processing feelings and emotions, resulting in attitudes and actions. Reference Wikipedia
According to the Bible man is three parts.
Spirit, soul, and body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Romans 12:1-2, Hebrew 4:12
The mind that is not completely understood or even tangible is where the battle is. All of those broken feelings and hidden pain lie within the soul (the battle). Therefore the mind/soul gives the signal to the brain and the brain send the signals to the body and we react.
Check this out the word Calvary
Aramaic term Gagulta
Greek term Golgotha
In the new testament the Bible translate the term meaning the place of skull. which in Greek is Κρανίου Τόπος (Kraníou Tópos), and in Latin is Calvariæ Locus, from which the English word Calvary is derived.

In plain terminology
Calvary a.k.a Golgotha a.k.a The place of skull
According to the new testament Jesus was crucified there. Here are some scripture that make mention of this. Matthew 27:33-35, Mark 15:22-24, Luke 23:33 and John 19:17-18).
We understand that God created the heaven and the earth. He created mankind with 3 parts. When the separation from God came. This is what I believe is the first showing of a broken soul. Genesis chapters 1-3. It is there in the garden that mankind realize something died.
All though the enemies influence and mankind’s action in the garden caused a situation that needed mending. There was nothing a person could have done to mend it.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.John 3:16-17 KJV
Therefore Jesus stood in the place of the skull. The thing that helps protect the head. He stretched out his arms and became the protection of our soul. Reconciling us back to God. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
So if we let Him He can fix what is broken.
God is the source of strength and all things. The alpha and omega. It all begins with Him continue and end with God. Although He is gracious and take care of us. In Spite of the many who do not believe in Him. Complete healing and restoration is in Him through Jesus Christ.
Therefore it is with this thought I leave you.
Praying and Believing that your hearts and mind will come to an awareness or greater awareness. And that your mouth (Romans 10:9-10) will acknowledge:
The source of your strength
Not just when pressure is on. But in each day and in everything. In Jesus name amen.
When we did not recognize Him he still gave us sunshine and rain. If you are reading this you are blessed to see another day.
As Al Green sings (yes I’m going there)
let’s stay together loving you whether time are good or bad happy or sad.
Stay together with the source.
And always remember this, things will fail
Even as David wrote My flesh and my heart faileth:
I encourage you to take comfort in knowing
God is the strength of my (your) heart,
and my portion for ever.
Psalms 73:26 KJV
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:1 KJV
